For me, being a mental health counsellor is less about giving you advice or solutions to your “problems”. It is more about being a guide through the vast inner landscape of your psyche. I am passionate about working with individuals and helping them work through anger management, depression, suicidal thoughts, aging, parenting, self image, relational problems and stress management.

Unfortunately I did not get to work with Yasir; his expertise did not match up with what I was looking for. He was very responsive though and kind enough to find out some therapists for me who were trained in the area I was looking for.

Our first session consists of a screening and assessment. I will have a conversation with my client about them which will form the basis of our work moving forward.
In addition to a Masters, I am qualified by CPCAB UK as an Independent Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor.

I am currently working adults (25+) and older individuals.
Always speak to your therapsit and get to know them. See if you are comfortable with how they approach their work and how well you two hit off. You don't have to choose a therapist until you are completely comfortable with someone.
